At Sage’s Haven Animal Resource Krew (HARK), we’re committed to giving every animal the best chance to thrive in a loving home. That’s why we offer free behavior consultations and training to help animals and their families build strong, lasting bonds.
Who Is This For?
Adopters: If you’ve adopted from Sage’s HARK, we’re here to guide you through your new pet’s transition and any challenges you might face.
Fosters: As a foster caregiver, you can rely on us to help prepare your foster animal for their forever home.
Community Members: If you’re struggling with your pet’s behavior and need support, we’re here for you too!
What to Expect
In a behavior consultation, you can expect a thorough evaluation of your pet's specific issues and a discussion of their history and environment. We will observe your pet's behavior and ask detailed questions to understand the root causes of the problems. Together, we’ll develop a personalized plan that includes training techniques, management strategies, and resources to help improve your pet's behavior. You'll leave the session with clear next steps and ongoing support to ensure your success.
What We Offer
Our behavior consultations and training are tailored to address a variety of needs, including:
Basic Obedience Training: Sit, stay, come, leash manners, and more.
Behavior Challenges: House training, barking, chewing, separation anxiety, and other common issues.
