We know surrendering a pet is never an easy decision. That’s why we offer free behavior consultations and training to address challenges you may be facing, including:
Behavioral Issues: Chewing, barking, aggression, or other concerns.
Household Adjustments: New baby, moving, or changes in the home environment.
Time or Resource Constraints: Struggling to meet your pet’s needs.

If Surrender Is Your Only Option
When surrendering your pet becomes necessary, Sage’s HARK is here to provide a compassionate, judgment-free process to ensure their safety and well-being.
Complete a Surrender Form: Provide detailed information about your pet’s history, personality, and needs.
Assessment: Our team will assess your pet to determine the best placement, whether that’s in a foster home, with one of our partners, or in our care.
Placement and Care: We will ensure your pet receives the attention, medical care, and training needed to prepare them for adoption.
What You Should Know
Surrendering Fees: While surrendering your pet to us is free, we welcome donations to help cover medical and training expenses.
